Fashion Designer, Roya Hashimi, developed a unique sense for style and fashion at the early age of 15. After graduating high school, Roya studied fashion design for 7 intensive years at the Hamburg Fashion Design School in Germany before journeying to the US for opportunities to develop her very own brand. Her specialty is bridal and evening wear and for the past 10 years, Roya has done nothing short of astound the wedding parties in the Washington, DC area. Her style may be described as simply elegant – a peerless blend of modern and glamorous simplicity with extraordinary detail upon closer inspection.

In 2007, Roya set her sights on something bigger. Her native Afghanistan is a land tormented with decades of war and Roya decided to use her success to help rebuild it. Using her personal funding, she led efforts to rebuild a school where young girls can learn fashion design and a factory where men and women can work for nearly double the wages to support their families. All of the proceeds from the factory are continuously reinvested in the humanitarian project.
